Chris is an energy and reliability compliance advisor with more than 20 years of experience in nuclear generation, capital planning, and electric reliability regulation.
He began his career in nuclear operations under the oversight of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), leading plant operations within one of the most rigorous regulatory environments in the energy sector. After earning a graduate degree in finance, Chris transitioned into strategic investment planning at Duke Energy, where he aligned capital strategy with regulatory requirements and long-term asset performance.
Chris brings deep expertise in Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) and Operations & Planning (O&P) reliability standards under the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) framework. He has contributed to industry standards drafting teams, large load initiatives, and dynamic line ratings efforts—providing him with direct insight into the evolving compliance landscape. He advises utilities and infrastructure owners on strengthening compliance programs, reducing regulatory risk, and positioning their organizations for long-term operational resilience.
