Ernesto works within the Power Supply Services department at GDS. As an energy consultant he has assisted various municipals, electric cooperatives, and generation / transmission entities develop power supply solutions for their unique needs. Previous projects include integrated resource plans (IRPs), competitive request for proposal (RFPs) market solicitations, capacity & energy market hedging strategies, environmental compliance feasibility studies, production cost modeling & resource acquisition studies, purchased power arrangement value assessments & negotiations, asset valuation calculations, and regular market participation reporting across multiple RTOs. Ernesto is a registered Professional Engineer.
