Lynn has more than 35 years of experience in the electric utility industry. He has an extensive background in management, operations, and finance, primarily with electric distribution systems. Lynn has been extensively involved in the U.S. Department of Defense utilities privatization initiative, and leads the GDS Utilities Privatization Practice. Lynn is also responsible for providing services to and directing projects primarily for electric distribution systems in a number of areas including financial analysis and planning; reorganization studies such as mergers and acquisitions; consolidations and valuation studies; marketing programs; demand-side planning and analysis; productivity studies; retail and wholesale rates; and various cost analyses. His team also supports clients in strategic decision analysis and support, particularly involving decisions on energy systems, such as wind power, solar photovoltaic systems, reciprocating engine generators, load management operations/optimization, etc.
