Stranded Cost Analysis
GDS has extensive experience in the assessment of potential stranded costs arising from deregulation of retail generation markets. We evaluate stranded costs using modeling processes that integrate results of regional power market dispatch and price forecast models with traditional regulated revenue requirements models. Through this approach, we assist clients in evaluating exposure to potential stranded costs over a range of future scenarios that consider changes in gas prices, environmental regulations, peak demand, and other key factors.
